This website is for people hoping to identify wildflowers they have seen along the many hiking trails of the Pacific Northwest. I am one of those hikers. And I am a wildflower FANATIC!! I’m lucky enough to live in this beautiful area, where the opportunity to both hike and seek out wildflowers is always available. The photos in these pages were researched and photographed by me, in various locations near my home in Portland. The photos are arranged by color and alphabetically, though sometimes the alphabetizing is not totally accurate. And sometimes colors are difficult to categorize: what some call white may be cream or leaning to pink or blue. And also keep in mind that the common names for some plants vary from area to area, even within the Northwest; check the scientific name also.
