The leaves of the Big-head Clover are distinctively palmate with three to nine leaflets on them. This wildflower grows on the east side of the Cascade Mountains in hard soil areas. The flower head has numerous banners, wings and keels, similar to Lupine. There are many fine hairs on each flower.
