The Bonneville Shooting Star is very abundant here in the Pacific Northwest. It is very similar to the Poet’s Shooting Star, except that the Bonneville Shooting Star has more rounded leaves versus the more oblong of the Poet’s. The Bonneville has almost no hairs on either the leave, stem or flowers; the Poet’s is more glandular.
