Monkeyflowers are a large family of wildflowers, all of which are very similar. Most have yellow flowers, but there are also red monkeyflowers. The Chickweed Monkeyflower is distinguished from others by the strong red dot on the lower lobe. Look for these in moist soil, often streamside.
