The Columbia Desert Parsley is unique in the Northwest, as it only grows in the eastern Columbia River Gorge area. And it is noticeable in that it is one of the only lomatiums with red flowers instead of yellow. One of the first plants to pop up after the frosts have stopped, the leaves of this wildflower are finely textured, and they grow in dense clumps.
