One of the most commonly found wildflowers, all around the world, the Common Dandelion is a member of the Aster family. Like all Aster family plants, it has many ray flowers, one per stalk. The leaves are oblong and toothed. It is found in meadows, along roadsides, in forests, and almost any disturbed area.
