Mahonia repens, Creeping Oregon Grape, is a close relative of the Oregon Grape. But this wildflower grows low to the ground and often is hiding under other plants. The flowers are in a cluster at the end of the woody stems. Leaves are ovate and have pointy spines. All the photos here were taken on the Harsin Butte trail at Zumwalt Prairie, May 14, 2025.
