MWhile there are a large number of paintbrushes, the Cusick’s Paintbrush stands out due to it’s pale yellow and reddish upper leaf stems. This wildflower grows mostly west of the Rocky Mountains. All photos were taken at Zumwalt Prairie, May of 2023 and 2025.
