Like all Penstemons, flower color is difficult to assign. The Davidson’s Penstemon var menziesii, ranges from pink to light purple. There are three different varieties of Davidson’s, this one having slightly serrated leaves, making it dissimilar to the others. This is a low growing plant that forms mats on the rocky hills.
