The leaves of the Dusky Horkelia are fern-like and just around the base of this wildflower. The flower is pinwheel in shape having white petals often with pink veins going lengthwise on each petal. The flower stalk can grow over a foot tall with hairs on the leaves as well as the sepals. Grows in damp, rocky areas.
