The Fringed Grass of Parnassus has a lacy, delicate look, but lives in sub-alpine and alpine areas in moist soil. There is a single flower on a single stalk, with five white petals which have fringed edges. The five stamens have yellow anthers and are quite visible in helping to identify this wildflower.
