This is a very unique wildflower. Not a typical wildflower, the monument plant can grow up to five feet tall and have numerous flowers all along it’s thick stalk. Right from the beginning, this plant is a little different: see the photo below of a young plant. And as it grows the amount of blooms increases. This tall plant can live for many years, but dies after it flowers.
