The very tall Green False Hellebore is sometimes called the Green Corn Lily or Indian Poke. It grows near running water, or very moist areas in mid to higher elevations. This is a very distinctive wildflower, and has a very close cousin, the White False Hellebore, which has white flowers instead of green.
