Hot Rock Penstemon is a standout, as this is one of the few white penstemons; most penstemons are blue to purple. The entire plant has hairs or glands on it, making it seem sticky to feel. The Hot Rock Penstemon likes dry, rocky areas east of the Cascade Mountains.
