Though not native to our area, the Jewelweed seems to have established itself fairly well. It has four petals of orange and often are mottled. The tube of the flower curls down at the back end. The Jewelweed likes growing in moist places, like at the sides of streams. Leaves are elongated ovals and alternate on the stem.
