The Pacific Ninebark is a shrubby plant that can grow up to ten feet tall. The bark peels as the plant ages, giving the flowering shrub it’s name. The leaves have three to five lobes, are toothed and have small hairs on the underside. Flowers are in a cluster with many florets, each with many stamens that have reddish tips. The Pacific Ninebark grows in moist areas, usually lightly forested.
