All onions seem similar. You have to really look closely to find the differences, and they are sometimes hard to identify. The Scalloped or Olympic Onion usually has leaves that are not as long as the stem of the flower, but this is not always true. These can have either pink or white flowers. Found in rocky soil, mostly west of the Cascades.
