MThe Sticky-stem Penstemon likes dry hillsides around Mt Hood and northeastern Oregon. The leaves are oblong and are dentate, meaning the edges have teeth. The flower is one of the larger penstemons, which is another defining feature of the Sticky-stem Penstemon. And of course the stem and leaves are glandular, having hairs making the plant seem sticky.
