I learned of this wildflower being called Puccoon, but have lately learned it is called Western Stoneseed and also Gromwell. So it is listed here under Western Stoneseed. When the flowers fade off, the seeds look like a small group of black pebbles, hence the name. I don’t have any photos to show that; I will find some and add a photo in the future.
