Sometimes called Shinyleaf Spiraea, the White Spiraea grows in moist area, mostly in the northern part of the Pacific Northwest. There are multiple flowers in a cluster at the tops of the branches. Each flower has five petals and many stamens that rise above the petals. Leaves are ovate with toothed edges and darker on top than the underside of each leaf.
