While this wildflower is named White-Veined Wintergreen (sometimes White-veined Pyrola), the flowers can sometimes be pink instead. This makes it very similar looking to Liver-leaf Wintergreen. The big difference then is that the White-veined Wintergreen has oblong leaves versus very rounded leaves on the Liver-leaf Wintergreen. They both grow in drier areas near or in forests. There are multiple flowers on a stalk, that hang downward with the style protruding out longer than the petals.
