Yellow Parentucellia is a non-native wildflower that seems to like the environment here in the Pacific Northwest. It lives on the west side of the Cascades. The stem and leaves are hairy and seem sticky to the touch. This plant grows all around the world. It’s bright yellow flowers have five lips; the two on the top are shorter than the three lower lips. The petals also have hairs.
